Gaming History Meets Bathroom Reader
Over two hundred pages and one hundred images, Winning Streak looks at the games we play and asks why? No seriously, why would you subject your friends to a game like Sorry!? Unless you think you’re only holding your friends back and the only way you think you can get that message across is by grinding it into them with a game of Sorry!. You know, like that scene in Airbud where the kid gives Airbud a pudding cup in a field as a last gesture of friendship and then tells the dog to leave because he’s free now, but the dog won’t leave so he has to yell at him and tell him he doesn’t want him any more, and I’m just crying like a little baby, but the moment is lost when the kid takes a full-sized Globetrotter’s-style basketball out of his backpack and convinces Airbud chase it while the kid makes a run for it? Maybe that’s why Sorry! sold so many copies over the years.

With a special guest forward by Aaron Yonda and/or Matt Sloan! Yes, those same goobers from Beer and Board Games! I haven’t read it yet, either! These guys who get plastered and play games for a living could totally ruin me!
And… the book is now officially funded via Kickstarter! But don’t worry! Just because you missed the Kickstarter campaign doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on a copy when it hits the Amazon store shelf. Just click “Keep Me in the Loop” at the top of this page, and I’ll send you an email when the book releases!
